Robert ‘Robbie’ Gregory Brock, age 51, passed away on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, at Atrium Health Floyd.

He was born on December 19, 1972, in Colorado Springs, CO and was the son of the late Robert Michael ‘Mike’ Brock and Glenda Sutton Brock. In his professional life, Robbie was a manufacturing Technician at Toyo Tires. Additionally, he previously served with the Floyd County Sheriff’s Office as a Deputy as well as a Warrant Officer with the Department of Juvenile Justice.  He also joined the United States Marine Corps in 1991 and was honorably discharged in 1995. Robbie was known as a world-renowned jokester. He loved to laugh and make others laugh. Those who knew Robbie would describe him as big-hearted, a true friend and having a flair for telling it like it is! He loved spending time with his wife, family, and his animals. His memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents: Mr. and Mrs. R.D. Brock; Mr. and Mrs. George Sutton; uncle, Greg Brock and special canine companion, Gretchen.

Robbie is survived by his loving wife, Shannon Brock; as well as their children: William (Nisreen) Edenfield, Nolan (Dominick) Edenfield and Laura (Josh) Patterson; grandchildren: Isaiah, Reagan, Tatum Edenfield and Lorelai and Charlotte Patterson and Ember Flynn Edenfield; brother, Chris (Tracey) Brock; uncle, Troy (Susan) Brock; his canine companion, sweet Lucy girl; along with numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Services to honor and celebrate Robbie's life will be held on Monday, May 20, 2024 at 4:00 PM in the chapel of Salmon Funeral Home with Charlie Mayberry officiating. A private Interment will take place later.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, May 20, 2024 from 2:00 PM until the service begins at 4:00 PM.  The family respectfully asks that flowers be sent or donations be sent to the Wounded Warriors Project or Paws Floyd County, 99 N Ave NE, Rome, GA 30161.
