Robert Wayne Espy

Mr. Robert "Wayne" Espy, age 71, of Plainville, GA, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 17, 2022.

Mr. Espy was born on September 8, 1950, in Armuchee, GA. He was the son of the late Emmett Franklin and Nettie Carden Espy. Mr. Espy attended Floyd Springs Baptist Church and loved the lord. He was an animal lover and enjoyed horses and playing with his dog, Sparky! Wayne was a hard worker and loved brick masonry work.

Survivors include his loving wife, Edith Espy of Plainville, GA; stepson, Billy and his wife Patricia Edwards; stepdaughter, Cathy Irene Wigley; two brothers, William and his wife Frances Espy, Mike and his wife Pat Espy; two sisters, Willene Minutole, Shirley and her husband, Bob Nadean; four grandchildren, Brandon, Aiden, Jazlyn, and Joseph. He is also survived by a number of nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.

A Celebration of Life for Mr. Robert “Wayne” Espy is being planned and as soon as the service details are finalized they will be announced here.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Edith Espy, 191 Webber Rd SW, Plainville, GA 30733 to assist with final expenses.
