Ms. Sharon Elaine Meers, age 68, of Calhoun, GA, passed away on Thursday, October 20, 2022.

Sharon was born on August 25, 1954 in Rome, Georgia to her loving parents, J.W. House and Evelyn Hight. Sharon enjoyed sewing, reading, cooking and spending time with her loving family. Ms. Sharon was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, daughter and friend who will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Sharon is survived by her loving children, Lisa Dixon; Frankie Dixon, Jesse Dixon all of Calhoun; mother, Evelyn Hight of Shannon, GA; brother, David ‘Buddy’ House and his wife Barbara; sister, Stacy and her husband Jeff Wilbanks both of Shannon, GA; grandchildren, Jordan (Ashley) Dixon, Allison (Nicky) Dixon, Marcus (Shannon) Pratt, Kyle (Celena) Dixon, Ashlee (Corey) Millsap, Jamie (Chelsey) Solomon; 12 grandchildren; a number of other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Sharon was preceded in death by her husband, James Daniel Meers and her father, J.W. House.

A Celebration of life will be held in the Banquet Hall at The Shag Williams Park on Sunday October 30th, 2022 from 2 PM until 6 PM.
