Stephen Ray Willerson

Mr. Stephen Ray "Steve" Willerson, United States Navy Retired, age 69, of Cuthbert, GA, and Rome, GA, died Sunday morning, April 15, 2012, in a Rome hospital.

Mr. Willerson was born in Chattooga County, GA, on February 7, 1943, the son of the late Jack and Faustine Bowzer Willerson. He was a Veteran of the United States Navy, retiring after 22 years of service.

Mr. Willerson is survived by a daughter, Stacey Willerson of Austin, TX; a step-daughter, Cindy Craft of Dawson, GA; a step-son, Ricky Ezell of Cuthbert, GA; brothers and sisters-in-law, Tommy and Mil Willerson, Ronnie and Dian Willerson, and Kevin Willerson; half brothers and their wives, Charles and Debbie Stoner of Ellijay, GA, Donald and Jane Stoner and Tommy and Linda Stoner, of Rome, GA. Five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren also survive.

Graveside and interment services for Mr. Willerson will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, April 27, 2012, in the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, GA.
