Teresa Morgan devoted her entire life to taking care of her oldest, disabled son. She is survived by her two sons, Roger Andrew Morgan, Jeremiah Scott Morgan and his wife Kellie Marie Morgan, and her grandson, Daniel Luther Morgan. She is also remembered by her brother, Timothy Smith and his wife, Anita of Chatsworth; two nieces, Stephanie Bennett and Shelly Dortch. Many neighbors and establishments in Chatsworth grew to know and love Teresa, looking forward to seeing her on her daily walks. Teresa loved her cat, Muchu, and was the biggest fan of the Bee Gees and The Eagles. She never had a tattoo, and thankfully never got that tattoo of Paul Stanley! 

In her younger years, she was a very hard worker at any job she took. Ultimately, she gave every bit of her time and energy to her son, Andrew, and took pride in caring for his every need. So much pride, that it was difficult for her to ask for help. She was a strong, old fashioned southern woman who pushed through countless hardships and only wanted to do what was best for her two sons. When she became a grandmother, it ignited a new joy in her heart. Every day she asked to see her grandson, Daniel and asked how he was doing, frequently expecting visits. She spoiled him with toys and clothes with what little she had. Daniel loved her as well and looked forward to seeing his grandmother when he became a toddler. He developed a close bond to her.

Teresa Morgan’s legacy is one of kindness, perseverance and an enduring love for those around her. She leaves behind a family and community profoundly touched by her presence and saddened by her loss. Her memory will continue to inspire and uplift those who were privileged to know her, embodying the values she held dear throughout a remarkable and meaningful life.

In accordance with Mrs. Morgan’s wishes, she will be cremated and no services are planned at this time.
