IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Thomas 'Tommy' Steven
Cordle
June 20, 1955 – February 10, 2026
Mr. Thomas 'Tommy' Steven Cordle, age 70 of Silver Creek, GA passed away peacefully on Tuesday afternoon, February 10, 2026, at a local healthcare facility. Tommy was born on June 20, 1955, in Rome, Georgia.
Over the years, Tommy's career journey led him to co-own C & S Automotive alongside his business partners. His passion for mechanics was evident as he thrived on fixing things and bringing adventures to life behind the wheel of an 18-wheeler. He took pleasure in exploring new places and embraced the freedom of the open road. Tommy was not just a mechanic known for his perfectionist work ethic but also a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend to all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Tommy was characterized by his independent spirit; he was a man who never wanted to be a burden on others. He loved his family deeply, cherishing every moment spent with them. In every gathering, his larger-than-life personality shined through, accompanied by his love for humor and storytelling. His love for watching westerns was a source of enjoyment, and many will fondly remember his natural ability to evoke laughter among friends and family alike.
Those who knew Tommy would recall his fondness for all things peanut butter, particularly PB & J Debbie Cakes and Reeses. He was often seen with a cup of coffee in hand, indulging in his favorite beverage throughout the day.
Tommy is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Hannah Cordle of Silver Creek, Georgia, and their children: Aaron Cordle and his wife Serena, Pete Deck and his wife Kristie, Edward Robertson and his wife Cindy, Amanda Hanks and her companion, Stacy, Sissy Nance and her husband Travis, and Angela Hill and her husband Chris. He also leaves behind his cherished siblings: sisters, Delane Ingram, Leslie Baham, and Jackie Oliver; brother, David Cordle; and an adoring legacy of grandchildren including Shelby Brunson (Zack), Halle Hegwood (Nathan), Kaylan Eickleberry (Adam), Molly Mansell (Jimmy), Kaylee Mansell, Wyatt Nance, Riley Deck (Lauren), Grayson Deck, Anthony Hill (Kaylee), and Amber Duzinskas (Justin); as well as his great-grandchildren: Linley, Cash, Hazel, Judd, Ryker, Madysen, Brenson, Barron, Adeline, and Kinsey—who will carry forward his memory.
Tommy was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Lois Bates Cordle, as well as his brothers, Donny and Benny Cordle.
