Virginia Avanell Horn

Virginia Avanell Horn age 87, of Rome passed away on Oct. 8, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband John D. Horn who she married on May 1, 1943. She was also preceded in death by her parents Leo C. and Charley Mae Nelson McKinney; sisters, Doris Rogers, Shirley Willburger; brothers, L. C. McKinney and Ray McKinney. Virginia is survived by her daughter Cynthia Byran and her husband Tony; grandchildren, Travis-Bruce Byran, Stefanie Borgers and Sherrie Byran; and eight great grandchildren.

Mrs. Horn was a member of Sherwood Forest Baptist Church.

There will be a graveside service on Saturday, Oct. 11, 2014 at 1:00 pm at Floyd Memory Gardens.
